Questionable Credentials

Questionable Credentials
"Doctor" Dune is a behemoth of a dragon, easily 15 meters long, including his whip-like tail, with a wingspan to match. His pet bird, proportional to his body, is the size of a large eagle, though it looks much more like a songbird or finch of some type. Clearly these are not beings made for a human-sized world. His voice is grating, raspy with a bizarre inflection that sounds as if he's always trying to scream -- even in a whisper. He seems to be made as much of stone as flesh, with shale and sandstone scales giving way to veins of turquoise.

Chelcedony

The Better Son
Larger even than his father, Dune, Chelcedony is a massive metal construct of intricate build. Lightning twists and snakes through the clear parts of his body. There is no flesh-and-blood dragon inside this suit of armor, only power and brutish tendencies.
Meister

The Forgemaster
Cursed with greater size than both his father and brother, shy and self-defeating Meister would have preferred to be born small – or perhaps not at all. His body appears to be made partly of stone and lava, and heat exudes from the vents at his shoulders. Fortunately, any magma real or imagined is contained within his skin and scales. He's a delicate soul, a gentle creature in a giant's body with a love of craftsmanship and a fear of others.
Amaranth

The Adventurer
Amaranth is long and snake-like, a dragon with two sets of wings and more tail than she knows what to do with. Her small limbs leave her standing no higher than a medium dog, but from snout to tip she's an easy 4 meters. Her four sets of wings are mostly superfluous, as she can float without flapping them, and in fact prefers to spend most of her time in the air. Despite the slight rasp in her voice she's obviously female. She appears to be surrounded by cinders at all times, but they're simply illusions.
Dustjewel

Merchant of the Multiverse
With a voice like a ringleader, Dustjewel's here to charm his way to profit. He stands about as tall as the average human on all fours, which puts him at the perfect height to converse with them. He keeps his hands impeccably clean, dusting and washing often with a handkerchief he keeps in the pocket of his vest. His yellow gems catch the light and he knows just how to position his wings to make a spectacle of himself.
Amethyst

A Kind Soul
Amethyst's voice, though deep, is decidedly feminine and softly comforting. Shards of glass, quarts, and perhaps even diamonds dangle from her horns and adorn her neck. Her feathered wings are kept well-preened by the large purple parrot that keeps her company. Her collared vest is in the style of some of the other dragons of the lair. Though she is much larger than a human, her delicate touch and gentle presence attest to her harmlessness.
Tower

The Observer
A talented yet cryptic mage, Tower busies herself with the affairs of the cosmos. Her black wings she keeps folded, draped in red and gold material. Beneath them there are galaxies, but the privilege of seeing them is not for everyone. Considered the clan's most powerful mage, she is capable of feats of transformation and magical imbuement, as well as scrying and fortune-telling... When the stars align.
Regal

The Sociologist
Oh, she's just so passionate! And she's the perfect size to meet these little humanoids! She stands at the height of a small woman when on all fours and her wings and tail are never too large or in the way. Her fluffy fur bursts from her bright red peacoat anywhere it can. She's so soft, so warm, and so... Did I mention passionate?
Dustwarden

The Cartographer
Another human-sized dragon, this one is burdened with so much unnecessary gear. His voice is friendly, if a little froggy, and he's prone to smiling and laughing. He is an explorer first and foremost, following in the footsteps of Amaranth both metaphorically and literally. He's here to explore, sure... But he's also here to have a little fun.
Hologram

The Wild Claw
He doesn't look very friendly...
